Procuring involves agreeing on the conditions and profit-sharing of prostitution. Any form of financial gain derived from a sex worker's activity – by a pimp, driver, bodyguard or landlord – constitutes exploitation.

Procuring involves agreeing with a person who will engage in prostitution on the conditions of where and how the activity will take place and how the earnings will be split. Exploitation of prostitution is any form of financial gain derived from the sex worker's activity, whether by a pimp, driver, bodyguard or landlord. The offence is committed even if the offender does not take most of the earnings or if the prostitution is carried out abroad.
